Strength in motion: fitness and legal empowerment for women – A Victorian Law Week & Stefitness Partnership Event

Join Bellarine locals; Women’s Health & Performance Coach Steph from Stefitness Pilates & PT and Principal Lawyer Marlene from Ebejer and Associates Lawyers (Werribee – Melbourne CBD – Bellarine), for a 25-minute movement class followed by a discussion on how the law can assist women with personal safety and empowerment.
About STEPH: Steph is a certified Pilates Instructor, Women’s Health & Performance Coach, Pre & Post Natal Trainer, and Running Coach. Stefitness was established in 2020 in Portarlington, Victoria during the Covid-19 lockdowns during a time where Steph saw the need to shift to online training to make movement accessible for people at home. She created an online platform that has now grown to a thorough online workout library, supplemented by her in person 1:1 and group fitness training.
Steph is committed to educating others in health, movement and fitness and is a strong advocate for women’s health issues.
About MARLENE: Marlene was admitted to practice in 2005 and in 2014 became an Accredited Family Law Specialist. Ebejer & Associates Lawyers opened its doors in Werribee in 2006. Marlene is an academic and author in the areas of family law and ethics, in 2021 she was duly admitted as a Notary Public in the Supreme Court of Victoria.
Prior to becoming a lawyer Marlene worked as a community worker focusing on housing, education, and economic development with a range of communities. Her passion project is Marli’s Bar recently opened and located at 52 Newcombe Street, Portarlington.
